These lip products might be everyday items for some, but to me, they’re definitely on the bougie side.

From price tags to packaging dreams, each one brought a different experience. Here’s my honest take after wearing, swatching, and testing them out properly!

1. Estée Lauder Lipstick – Rose Tea (441)

This was one of the very first expensive lipsticks I ever owned, so it holds a special place in my heart. The formula is creamy and moisturising, glides on smoothly, and smells pleasant without being overpowering. The shade itself looks very natural on the lips, perfect for everyday wear.

2. Innisfree Lip Balm – Love Beige

This one is truly a holy grail for me. I loved it so much I bought one for myself and another for my mum. The packaging is adorable and clean, giving soft, feminine vibes. On the lips, it feels incredibly moisturising with a shiny, glossy finish that looks effortless and natural. There’s a slight strawberry-like taste at the end, which some people might not enjoy (my friend definitely didn’t), but it doesn’t bother me at all.

3. Dior Lipstick – Rosewood

With this price point, expectations were sky-high. The packaging is undeniably beautiful—very Dior, very elegant. The shade looks natural and flattering, and the scent is lovely. Unfortunately, the performance itself felt quite ordinary. It didn’t do much more than a standard lipstick, and nothing about the formula truly stood out to me.

Overall, these lippies brought a mix of excitement, hits, and mild disappointments. Some proved that price doesn’t always equal performance, while others showed that affordable products can shine just as much—if not more. At the end of the day, makeup is about what makes you feel good, and every one of these had its own moment!
