I’ve realised that I don’t want the same base every day. Sometimes I need something quick and lightweight, while on other days I want proper coverage that survives hours without constantly checking a mirror.
These are the products I’ve been rotating lately, and each one fills a slightly different spot in my routine.

Trueve Velvet Hi Cover Mesh Cushion

Shade: Light Warm
This is the cushion I choose when I want noticeably fuller coverage. It evens out my complexion quickly and gives me that polished, almost filtered finish without needing several layers of foundation.
I think it works especially well when my skin is leaning combination or oily because the finish feels controlled rather than overly dewy. I still apply it gradually instead of loading the puff with too much product at once. That way, I can build coverage exactly where I need it and keep the rest of my face looking natural.

Mad For Makeup Hi Cover UV Cushion

Shade: W1
For everyday makeup, I usually prefer this one. The coverage feels easier and more relaxed, so I can apply it quickly without spending ages blending.
It gives me enough coverage to make my complexion look cleaner and more even while still feeling comfortable for a normal day. I especially like it when I want my makeup to look finished but not obviously “full glam.”

Wardah Colorfit HD Blurify Loose Powder

Shade: Translucent 00
This has become my easy daily powder. I mainly concentrate it around my T-zone and under the eyes, where I want to reduce shine and keep everything looking smoother.
The translucent shade makes it convenient because I don’t have to think too much about matching it with my foundation.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder

Shade: Translucent
When I know my makeup needs to last longer, this is the powder I trust more. I use a small amount and press it into areas where foundation tends to move first.
The biggest difference for me is how much more secure my base feels afterward. It is definitely the product I save for longer days rather than quick everyday makeup.

Wardah Colorfit Velvet Powder Foundation

Shade: 23W Warm Ivory
This is probably the easiest product of the whole group. The texture feels smooth and lightweight, and I love using it when liquid foundation simply feels like too much effort.
It gives my skin a more even, softly matte finish without making the routine complicated. For quick makeup days, I can honestly use this alone with concealer and be completely happy with the result.
